WHO WE ARE

The Queen City Sisterhood, Order of the Moist Brollie is a  Not for Profit Organization, Registered Society in the BC Registries (S0068281). We're a Mission House of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI), an International Order of drag nuns which was established in 1978 in San Francisco.

The sisterhood exists to perpetuate the universal JOY! Whether it be raising awareness of current events or raising funds for local charities, the sisters are there to serve and to educate. We take our nunly vows very seriously. When manifested in our characteristic white face, it is our duty to spread joy, expiate stigmatic guilt, and serve the community.

It is our belief that Victoria's vibrant spirit is best served when we all unite together. Drag, Burlesque, and LGBTQ+ artists alike contribute to our community's rich tapestry. The Queen City Sisterhood reminds us to support our community by remembering and reflecting on those who are no longer with us. We stand alongside those who are marginalized. We resist stigma at every turn through education, giving voice to those in need of one.

Let us inspire others who would later increase our number, and support those who would like to better our community and further their own JOY through nunly works!

One Joy, More Joy, Always Joy!
