About The Event
Spoonie Pleasure Showcase
About the event: The Spoonie Pleasure Showcase is an afternoon of magic, celebration, and community uplifting for disabled and/or neurodivergent people! This is a space where we can show off what brings us pleasure - in its many forms - we can be creative, funny, political, musical, erotic and so much more!
Disabled and/or neurodivergent artists/community members/performers are often pushed out to the margins because our needs are not centered in the making of events. The Spoonie Pleasure Showcase is a political act because we are carving out space for disabled and/or neurodivergent stories.
