Burlesque Marathon


We the sisters were proud to host our very first Fundraiser, a Burlesque Marathon at the Metro Studios Theatre in Victoria B.C. A night of fun and folly for the whole family, If your family is in the ages of 19 year and older. We were happy to bring you 15 astounding performances from performers ranging in skill and experience. Hosted by none other than Vera Tooche and Eddie Wilson, with a special performances by Teen La Queefa who rained gold upon the audience. No really, she pelted the audience with chocolate coins for a laugh.

Johnny Bottomsworth returned to the stage with a solo and a duet with brother boylesquer Clam Chowda. Displaying comedy and feats of strength which woed the crowd. Blu Onyx made her performance debut with such sweetness while Roxy MiNue’s hot flashes set the audience on fire. Father Daddy took the stage where he exorcized himself in such a way where demonic possession couldn’t be described as anything but enchanting. April Ace showcase her sex appeal in her interpretation of Jessica Rabbit while Captain Goldstar delighted in his transformation to a merman. A sensual slow burn by Misty Moss and The Velvet Unicorn presented a powerful piece inspired by the Red Dress Project, brought the crowd to their feet. The third act continued with Cherry Cheeks mesmerizing interpretation of a jellyfish. Deliah D’Lish chocolate obsession made the audience hungry and the finale made by the Kids in the Hall’s Chicken Lady wowed with weird.

Congratulations to the winners of the draws, hope you make good use of your prizes. And to the grand prize winner, we hope you enjoy that loverly jumbo featherless boas.
