Vancouver Island Persons with AIDS Society hosted a screening of the film the Circle of Strength, created by Martin Glen. In it featured some hard hitting issues and focused on the stigma endured by
and people with HIV. Sister Vera Tooche and Coeur Flambe were there in the dark of that film and we were moved greatly by the insights and the collaboration of experience put to film. After we were allowed to speak to a panel of those participants and were surprised that many of them resided here on the island and in Victoria. We were glad to take part in this, even more so the connection made with the VIPWAS, it is safe to say we'll be doing work together in the future.
